Creative Connection Conversation cards are a pack of 100 conversation cards to use with your family. They are carefully created by a Jen, our Creative Counselor in order for you and your family to connect more. Put all devices away and get ready to have a good conversation in 4 easy steps: 1. Read out aloud, "This is a safe space with no judgment. If anyone needs to stop the conversation at any point, you can say "stop and pause." Coming back to the conversation in 5 minutes. 2. Pick a Creative Connection Conversation Card from the deck and read it aloud. 3. Listen, hear and learn more about your child as they share their answers. 4. Now it's time to share your answer to the Creative Connection Conversation Card. Creative Connection Conversation Cards are great for home time, road trips, holidays, restaurants, picnics, waiting rooms and more.

Creative Connection is an artful counselling provider. We create emotional literacy programs and products underpinned by the latest academic journals, thought-leadership reference books, psychology studies and techniques. We’re avid advocates of psychologist Daniel Goleman, who highlighted the wealth of opportunity that emotional intelligence holds. And we use this knowledge to guide teens, tweens and children to boost their emotional wellbeing.

Our founder, Jen, is an ACA-accredited Level 3 Master Counsellor. She brings her wealth of experience as a former school guidance counsellor and visual arts teacher to create what children and teens need to allow them to connect with their creativity, their emotions and their families.

Life can be serious. However, when things feel dark, it can be time to let the light in to balance it. As Carol Dwek champions, “Hands-on learning encourages a growth mindset … that they can develop and improve in the face of adversity.” Through our extensive experience and learning, studies show that teens, tweens and children learn best through doing. So, we make our journals and conversation cards easy to engage with. We make it FUN. Less writing and reading required, more room for creating.
